Giving voice and impact to your story….
I partner with changemakers, leaders, and visionaries to craft and share the stories that inspire action. Through strategic communications, thought leadership, media relations, content creation, and speechwriting, I help ensure your messages reach the audiences who matter most
Storytelling is more than content — it’s a tool for visibility and transformation. The clients I work with have been able to raise their voices, increase their influence, and create a lasting impact. Together, we have influenced government policy, expanded our reach to new audiences, and secured increased funding from donors.
I shape messages that stand out, at the right time, to the right people. My clients, and their stories, have featured on the BBC, Sky News, Forbes, Vogue, The ABC, CNN, Der Spiegel, La Monde, and Bloomberg to name a few. I’ve written speeches that have been delivered at Buckingham Palace, The Vatican, Houses of Parliament, and in presidential palaces around the globe.
Whether you're a leader, an advocate, or a mission-driven organisation, I can help you find the heart of your message — and create the strategy to make it heard.

About Lucy
Lucy Woolliscroft has written for and advised senior leaders at the highest levels of government and global advocacy.
She began her career at the BBC, reporting for TV, Radio, and Online. She worked across the globe, covering high-profile stories for network news. As a presenter on the BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4, Lucy gained an unparalleled insight into what makes a good story, the skill to turn technical jargon into engaging copy, and a strong network of media contacts.
Working in Whitehall as Head of Editorial and Head Speechwriter for a busy UK government department, Lucy worked closely with Secretaries of State and their junior ministerial teams to communicate government policy and react to national crises.
She then moved to work as Director of Communications for a Nobel Peace Prize winner, where she drove media campaigns, created comms products to influence global policy, and developed messaging to ensure the NGO delivered on its vital mission.
Passionate about the power of storytelling, she now brings that experience to her consulting work. She can help you cut through the noise, connect with the right audiences, and carry your vision into action.

“The best arguments in the world won’t change a person’s mind. The only thing that can do that is a good story. ”
